Zoo Ambassador Programme

Reptile Village Zoo is delighted to announce our latest conservation initiative, the Zoo Ambassador Programme!

The Zoo Ambassador Programme (ZAP for short) is designed to fit into our conservation through education ethos. We support a number of projects around the world which help research and conserve animals in the wild. And we need your help!

If you sign up for ZAP you will become part of our conservation team and you’ll help educate people about conservation and environmental awareness. As a zoo ambassador the main way to do this is through organizing fundraisers.

As you raise money you will be rewarded. There are four targets laid out for zoo ambassadors to aim for with different rewards for each one. These range from zoo goodies, a visit from our Zoo to You team, or the chance to be part of a Reptile Village expedition to the tropics!

All the money raised will go to helping fund equipment, resources and personnel for the projects we support around the world. The money will also be used to fund your rewards!

Being part of ZAP means you will be directly contributing to conserving animals and habitats. And if you raise enough you will have the chance to trek through jungles, see animals in their natural habitat and learn from some of the leading people in this field!

If you are interested download and fill in the application form (ZAP) and send it to us either via email ([email protected]) or by post to Reptile Village Zoo, Demesne Road, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny. Once you’ve completed your first fundraising event we’ll send you your first prize pack.

If you have any questions about ZAP you can email our conservation officer at [email protected].
